Paris-based artist Matthieu Grambert has created work that is both inventive and emotionally impactful by using artificial intelligence (AI) into his creation process. Matthieu, who previously worked in marketing for Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures, switched to AI as a creative outlet, emphasizing ultra-realism and storytelling.

Matthieu started investigating AI-driven narrative in August 2022, and by January 2023, he had made significant progress in photorealistic visuals. He achieved notable progress in the high fashion industry’s use of AI video creation by August 2023, and by September 2023, he was a part of global creative programs for major AI tools. Several exhibitions of his art have taken place in Shanghai, Switzerland, Hungary, and Milan.
One of Matthieu’s most famous works is the “Climate Change” collection, in which he used artificial intelligence (AI) to show models on a glacier runway that has partially thawed, with birds flying overhead and guests sitting on chunks of ice. The potential of AI-driven storytelling in fashion was demonstrated by this collection, which was showcased at the inaugural AI Fashion Week in New York City.
Matthieu talked about the future of AI in fashion and his creative process in an exclusive interview with ADAM IN TOWN. “I want to create meaningful concepts with humans,” he said, underscoring the significance of human aspects and meaningful concepts in his AI-generated art. In terms of style and aesthetics, I want to grow closer while still achieving the goals I have in mind.
Numerous fashion firms have taken notice of Matthieu’s work. To better establish himself in the industry, he participated in AI Fashion Week and worked with designer Jason Wu on the brand’s spring-summer 2024 collection.
Matthieu, who is represented by firms like NEWCOMERS (France), ATRBUTE (UK), and SECRET LEVEL (USA), keeps pushing the limits of artificial intelligence in creative design. His path demonstrates a dedication to investigating the nexus between creativity and technology, extending the potential of visual storytelling in the era of digitalization.
